Faith goes with you wherever you go!

With this high-quality beechwood keychain, you always carry God’s blessing by your side. The Ichthys symbol is a reminder that you are never alone, no matter where you go.

A meaningful and symbolic gift for First Communion, Confirmation, Chrismation, or a birthday.

The fish symbol comes from Greek and means “fish.” Early Christians used it as a secret sign of recognition during times of persecution. To find out whether an unknown person was a follower of Jesus, one would draw an arc in the sand. If the other person completed it with a second arc to form the fish symbol, they clearly identified themselves as a fellow believer.

Schlüsselanhänger mit Karabinerhaken - Ichthys
This lovely key chain with snap clips and the “Ichthys“ is available in yellow, green and purple. The distribution of the key chains is mixed. The Icthys symbol comes from Greek and means "fish“. Early Christian used the fish during the times of persecution as a secret symbol of recognition. To be sure if present, unknown people were followers of Jesus or not they drew an arch in the sand. If the other person then completed the symbol with another arch to make the fish they revealed that they too were a Christian. The fish wasn’t chosen at random, but rather has two meanings. Firstly, it refers Mark 1:17 where Jesus called upon Simon (who was later named Peter) and his brother Andrew while they were fishing in the Sea of Galilee to go with him and become fishers of men. As well as this, a type of profession of faith can be derived from the beginning letters of the Greek word: I - JesusCh - Christ [the "anointed", in Hebrew "Maschiach" (the Messiah)]Th – God‘sY – Son  S – Saviour
