Eggs have a long tradition in Christianity as a symbol of Jesus’ resurrection, new life and a new beginning. The tradition of decorating eggs and giving them as gifts has its roots as early as the middle Ages. Traditionally the consumption of eggs was forgone in the run up to Easter. As this coincided with the typical laying time of chickens it lead to an abundance of eggs, which were either preserved or decorated and brought to Church, blessed and gifted.

These candles can only be ordered in sets of 5 and come in 5 colours. The candles are delivered with randomly selected colours. An expressed selection of the candles is not possible!
