Simon Peter, John, Matthew, Mary and the others get to know Jesus better and better. But they also experience setbacks, misunderstandings and disputes that need to be resolved. And step by step they discover what Jesus actually wants to achieve.

Season 2 again moves closely along the accounts of the Bible, but tells them from unusual perspectives and embedded in cleverly developed stories that make this series so fascinating and comprehensible for viewers.

It all comes down to the season's grand finale: the Sermon on the Mount. And here, too, you get to see how a familiar story can be shown in a whole new way.
